Interior Design Project 6

Bedroom Interior Design Project - Staffordshire

This accessible room in a lovely period building with beautiful stone work and beams needed to be kept open and spacious. Wooden furnishings and wood and tartan lamps were used to make the oak beams stand out in their raw form and give the room a country feel. The beams were kept with their original holes and unusual metal straps to retain character and roughness.   A green Zoffany paper was chosen to soften the raw materials of this wall and maintain the link with the the beams in their original form of trees. This lovely light wallpaper brings a freshness to the room without being over powering or clinical.
